Listen, we told y’all abt the infiltrations of our protests; now that Trump has called in the military and escalated the threats against protestors around the country, we want everyone to be clear about who the characters are in the streets and what their motives are. #DefundMPD https://t.co/GPWmA0Mis4
I haven’t slept a wink. I’m going to sleep for a couple hours. Then I’ll be back on my soapbox. I care about this city, I LOVE its ppl. I may be angry but I’ll never let it fester into hate for anyone. But I WILL talk my shit and march in protest until I see change.
@SaraJBenincasa You are the first person I thought of when I heard about this yesterday. I love you and Canter's love.
Canter’s believes that black lives matter. In support of the Black Lives Matter movement, we are putting out free bottles of water for protestors. Please stay safe.
George Will: “We cannot know all the measures necessary to restore the nation’s domestic health and international standing, but we know the first step: Senate Republicans must be routed, as condign punishment for their Vichyite collaboration” https://t.co/CyvJvvoOOz
My mentions are full of folks claiming no one listened to me or to other scholars of fascism. Wouldn't that be a sweet simple story? In reality a shitload of people listened to us, many with the power to protect people. They instead chose to sacrifice democracy to a death cult.
Thank you for your interest in wiping out half of humanity. We are experiencing a high volume of apocalypse right now. Your apocalypse is very important to us. The next available group of self-identified experts with no experience in the field will be with you shortly. https://t.co/OhgU49X7tJ
The real tea is that even white people are not free in this country. If you can’t stand up against oppression without being beaten or massacred by state violence, then you‘re not free. If the price of your ticket is endorsing or enabling white supremacy, then you’re not free..
.@POTUS is trying to enforce the Insurrection Act (1807) stating that he will “deploy the military” to quell the violence. Clearly counsel hasn’t told him about The Posse Comitatus Act (1878) which prohibits military enforcing domestic policies. Nice try at fascism though #resist https://t.co/6NFKeQQwLP
