  • @TIME Thank you for reporting this. Those of us who are fans of the sport have been trying to shed light on the corruption of the ISU for a while now, and having major organizations cover even one facet of that really helps!

For anyone wondering who it was that thought Shulepov’s costume deserved nomination - the ISU was kind enough to list that information in their awards FAQ. 🤡💩🤡 https://t.co/yYmOD8It59

@TIME This is the people responsible for making this costume into the award in the first place. https://t.co/IzP1wW1wWt

  • @TIME @gleekatrician Thank you can you report on the corrupt judging now? Particularly the Russian skating federation's increasing use of Putin-esque black-is-white false narratives to cheat results.

  • @TIME Thank you for covering this! We fans were outraged about this costume since he first skated in it, but the ISU only listened when big organizations became aware of this and started covering it. It would be amazing if you could also take a look at the very obvious national bias...

  • @TIME Thank you for reporting on this. This incident is one of many that illustrates the complete lack of checks and balances within the organization. They even called the response to the anti-semitic insensitivity of the costume "bad sentiments" from fans. It's outrageous.

  • @TIME Thank you for reporting on this and for the "error" because we can all see through that. Thank you for mentioning Jason Brown, as well, his free skate is beautifully nuanced, emotional, and appropriate.
