When the internet got old enough to drink, a lot of us were saying wow, you can learn anything! You can teach yourself whatever you want! I guess we should have added “but you can’t know better than highly educated, world-renowned experts by reading a bunch of social media posts”

I had to quit episodic, host-driven travel/slice-of-life shows when Anthony Bourdain left us. But United Shades of America is great. @wkamaubell is an evolution of the human/humor facets of Bourdain and he’s got a great sense of what to focus on and when to let the content speak.
Wow, there is a *lot* of fighting about who Biden’s VP pick should be. Understandable in general, but the disturbing aspect is how much is fueled by hatred of “the other candidate’s” supporters. It’s like a localized “own the libs” between moderate and more left, both ways. Yikes
