Highly recommend @threader_app - it's my favorite new app in years. There is some great long form content on that is posted on Twitter as Tweetstorms that have a short shelf life and are impossible to find even a few weeks later. All on @threader_app with good discovery tools.

Some of you have noticed that Threader's bot tweets are not visible. If you are trying to compile a thread, you probably can't see its reply since it's being hidden by Twitter. This issue may be affecting other accounts. Hopefully it will be resolved soon. cc @TwitterSupport

Due to an outage with one of our systems, tweets on account profiles were visible to some, but not others. We're still working on fixing this and apologize for any confusion.

In the meantime, we don't know how long this is going to last or why this is happening, although it may be linked to this issue Twitter reported yesterday:

Note: even if the tweet is marked as unavailable, you can still click the link to get to the original tweet. 🙋‍♀️ Let us know if it's not working or if you notice any other irregular behavior.

🛠 Update: we found a temporary fix.

When asking for a compilation, since you can't see the bot's reply with our link (or receive a notification in your mentions), we are tweeting at you a second time with the link to our tweet.

It's a bit twisted but it seems to be working!

We’ve made the decision to stop all political advertising on Twitter globally. We believe political message reach should be earned, not bought. Why? A few reasons…🧵

Good move @jack. When starting Threader we took the decision to never use ads and focus on curation and design instead. It's harder to make it sustainable but it's the choice we made. Political disinformation shouldn’t be part of social networks’ business models.

Since late 2015, Twitter users with lots of followers have seen few to no ads. With the company facing a tough ad sales quarter, that finally changed. https://onezero.medium.com/are-you-seeing-way-more-ads-on-twitter-heres-why-d7f4a6681fe3 …

Whatever your follower count is, you will never see ads when reading Twitter threads with Threader.

I saw a guy at Starbucks today. No iPhone. No tablet. No laptop. He just sat there. Drinking coffee. Like a Psychopath.
