I didn't believe it when Tom Verducci said the Astros didn't swing and miss at a single offspeed pitch from Clayton Kershaw in Game 5 of the 2017 World Series. I went back and watched every Kershaw pitch that night. He was right. They didn't swing and miss at a single one.
If it makes anyone feel better, there’s no doubt Astros players are suffering for their shenanigans. Some of them seem sad; with others it feels like they’ve lost their edge. Prediction: It’s going to be a long season and they will very likely underperform.
No fines, no suspensions, keeping their jobs, World Series title and MVP award. But they’re sad, so justice prevails.

Random but... my all time favorite Clayton Kershaw memory happened when I was there for Game 7 of the 2017 World Series, & as his entrance song played he came out of the bullpen in relief & threw 4 shutout innings against the cheating Astros. Absolute warrior performance that day
